Hi, I’m Marissa Staley — founder of Staley Accounting.
Accounting has been a part of my life for over 15 years, but for me, this business has always been about more than numbers. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating Cum Laude, and throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to support businesses through bookkeeping, payroll, financial organization, and day-to-day accounting operations. I’m also certified in QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, Paychex, and Paylocity payroll systems.
Opening my own firm has been a longtime dream of mine because I wanted to create an experience that felt different from the traditional corporate accounting world. I wanted clients to feel supported, understood, and genuinely cared for — not like just another account on a spreadsheet.
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I wholeheartedly understand that behind every business are real people, real sacrifices, and real families depending on its success. I know that when a business succeeds, it means food on the table for your family and for the families of your employees too. That perspective is a huge part of why I love what I do. Supporting small business owners is deeply personal to me because I understand how much heart, pressure, and responsibility comes with building something of your own.
At Staley Accounting, my goal is to provide personalized support that helps business owners feel more organized, confident, and less overwhelmed behind the scenes. Whether it’s keeping the books clean, managing payroll, helping with QuickBooks, or simply being someone you can call when you have questions, I truly love becoming a trusted part of my clients’ businesses.

The powerhouse behind the firm’s client experience, operational strategy, and bookkeeping division.
As Director of Bookkeeping & Client Services, Ryan oversees the systems, technology, and workflows that keep the firm operating efficiently while ensuring clients receive a seamless, high-touch experience from start to finish. From managing the firm’s tech stack and process optimization to client communication and day-to-day operations, he plays a key role in creating the modern, streamlined experience Staley Accounting is known for.
QuickBooks Pro Certified with a strong background in bookkeeping and business operations, Ryan brings a detail-oriented, solutions-driven approach to supporting both clients and the internal team. His focus on organization, responsiveness, and efficiency helps business owners feel supported and confident behind the scenes.
Co-founding the firm alongside his wife, Marissa Staley, Ryan helped build Staley Accounting around one core belief: accounting should feel personal, approachable, and relationship-driven — not corporate or transactional. Together, they’ve created a firm that blends professionalism with genuine connection, giving clients the trusted support of a dedicated financial partner.
